General admission pre-purchased tickets are at a discounted rate from gate prices and are valid for 6 months from date of purchase and cannot be extended

Adult/Child (4 to 15) - save 7.5% off full priced tickets.
Senior/Student - save 7.5% off full priced tickets - must show concession card on arrival
Family (2 adults and up to 3 children 4 to 15) - Save 33% off full-priced adult & children ticket rates.
Children under 4 years are a gold coin donation.

Lost, stolen or destroyed tickets cannot be replaced.
National Zoo & Aquarium reserves the right to request proof of age. Children 15 years and under must be supervised by an accompanying adult. An adult is deemed to be any person aged 16 years or older.

We are located on Lady Denman Drive, next to Scrivener Dam, near Yarralumla - approximately 9km from the centre of Canberra - just off Parkesway/Tuggeranong Parkway.

For SENIOR & STUDENT Entry, the ticket holder will be required to show their VALID CONCESSION CARD on arrival,
or a payment of $7 will be necessary. Please note - pension cards are NOT accepted
As the majority of the exhibits our outdoors, you should dress for the weather. There will be no refunds or rain checks due to inclement weather, animals resting or animals sleeping, or the closure of any exhibits/animals off display
We are open from 9.30am to 5pm every day except Christmas. Valid for Entry until expiry date shown. Voucher must be printed & handed to Front Counter staff on arrival.
Make more of your visit - Interactive Keeper Talks* and special animal hand feeds for visitors - which include photo opportunities - take place on weekends, Canberra School Holidays and Public Holidays.
No bookings necessary, just be at the enclosure at the designated time to either watch, or pay the Keeper to participate.
Daily Activities* take place every other day (*weather permitting)

Individual, up close Animal Encounters run daily and these can be booked separately online prior to your visit, or ask at the Front Desk on arrival if their are any vacancies for that day (fees involved)
