Something NEW at the Zoo!
Curious about what it takes to work at a zoo? Perhaps your child missed out on a place in our popular Junior Zoo Keeper program, or after attending our holiday program - Zoocation - they would like to experience more of what a real Zoo Keeper does? Or maybe they just love animals and want to have a more in depth experience with some of the Zoos friendly locals.
Then try Keeper For A Day.
These 'stand alone' sessions include making enrichment (toys) for the animals, learning what it takes to care for zoo animals and conservation issues.
Cost is $75 per session
Average Duration: Sessions run for 3 hours either in the morning - 9am to 12pm
We are located on Lady Denman Drive, next to Scrivener Dam, near Yarralumla - approximately 9km from the centre of Canberra - just off Parkesway/Tuggeranong Parkway.
